Problem Note 46679: Unable to use SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Greenplum in a UTF8 SAS® session

Invoking the SAS System by using the UTF8 SAS session encoding does not enable a user to invoke the SAS/ACCESS Interface to Greenplum engine. The following error message might occur: 

libname myconn greenplm dsn=mygp user=dbitest password=XXXXXXX schema=public;
ERROR: Unsupported session encoding.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
